Choose Johns Hopkins if you want a bundled RD master’s inside a school of public health and can pay private tuition. It admits with or without a DPD (seven prerequisite courses if none), takes a cohort of 10 a year, and places its supervised practice after the coursework rather than alongside it.
Choose the University of Maryland Medical Center if you want a small hospital-based internship and need help meeting the graduate-degree rule. It takes up to 6 interns a year and offers a DI-only track for applicants who already hold a master’s, or an online master’s from Rutgers or Rosalind Franklin alongside the internship.
Choose Morgan State if you want a Baltimore bachelor’s with an accredited DPD, or a one-year online master’s. Its DPD runs through June 30, 2031 after a 2021 probation that ACEND resolved by 2022, and its new master’s carries a Dietetic Internship track whose ACEND status is unconfirmed.
